Here we are. . . We are here!

Well, we (and all our bags) arrived in Singapore safe and sound. Caleb did GREAT on the flight, considering it was over 7000 miles! We are getting settled in and working on getting our work/dependent visas finalized so we can get our own internet access. For now, we're paying by the minute at a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (they have almost every store imaginable here!) It is a balmy, breezy night here and we are sitting out on the patio. The weather couldn't be nicer. We're thankful that God had us arrive during a summer storm because the normally hot and humid weather hasn't reared it's ugly head yet.

I'll be posting more once we get up on the internet, but I just wanted to let you all know we made it. Thanks for your prayers.

YAY! I am glad that you are all well and that baby Caleb did great. =) We were starting to wonder if you had gotten on the right plane and didn't end up in Zimbabwe!

if you've got a WiFi (wireless) laptop, this may help:

(1) WiFi hotspots
(2) Outdoor Wireless Surf For Overseas Visitors

or even from your home, just use your wireless laptop to search for wireless networks in your area - you may be within the free wireless internet access areas being rolled out as part of the government's Wireless@SG program. all the best!

Welcome to Singapore! =P

So glad to hear you have arrived safe and sound, and healthy.

The adventure has begun!

We will be praying for you every time we think of you... and you can only guess how often that will be! ;-)

Hooray! You made it! So excited for you and glad you are safe. It's fun to hear that they have every store imaginable. I can't believe you were sitting at a Coffee Bean -- those are everywhere in Southern California, so it's like, so familiar. Weird.

Can't wait to hear more about your transition and adjustment to the new culture -- and even what the new culture is even like. Kirk and I were talking last night about whether or not we would be able to visit you guys while you are there. Neither of us has ever been to Asia, so you'll have to give us the lowdown primer. :)

Wow... you've made it! Now we're on this adventure together (though I kind of went the other direction). Hey, if you're putting together an email update list add me. It'll remind me to be praying for you. I'm sure I've said it already, but I'm so so excited for you guys!

So glad you made it safely! I am also rejoicing that Caleb did well on the long flight. We were exhausted after only a 3 1/2 hour flight to Seattle with Luke. I am excited to hear more about your adventure.

Just FYI, everyone....

Josh and Rebecca should be getting their internet on August 13.

I would imagine, after that, that we'll see copious amounts of blogging. I've talked to Bec a few times on her cell phone, and she has lots to say about their new life.

She sounds happy as a lark!

Watch this spot!
