Turns out, most apartments in Singapore come partially furnished. That will be a blessing for us (provided the furniture isn't nasty) since we don't really want to purchase much while we're there, since we're only going to be there two years.

We have a place to live!
After being denied for the apartment that we really wanted because we have an infant, I was starting to get nervous about the housing situation. But God changed the heart of the landlord and upon second request (with a little sweet talking from our contact in Singapore), he agreed to rent to us! Here is a picture of the apartment.

Looks fantastic!! Praise to God for softening the heart of the landlord.
This is great news! I'm glad it worked out with the original place. And like I told Kirk, this place looks like a hotel property more than an apartment complex!
Isn't it amazing how we are provided for? I would have been rather nervous about finding a place.
It is awesome that it has a swimming pool since it will be warm!
Can't wait to visit and check it out!
