Point Taken

Perhaps it is the $500 fine and 3-months in jail (for first time offenders!) that discourages people from jaywalking in Singapore. Or. . .

perhaps it is the signs.

By the way, I think what you're doing here with this Singapore blog is simply fabulous. I like how you're covering so many aspects of "real life" and how that real life applies to Singaporeans. I hope this blog ends up helping other people actually going there!

so your telling me I can stay in singapore for three months for the very low price of $500 and all I have to do is run across that street? tell josh he needs to answer my ims even if they do question his courage in the face of uncertain danger.
